Home Remedy Recipe for Coughs
When coughing and hacking during a terrible cold you may not have to run out to the drug store. Home remedies can help reduce your irritating symptoms and heal minor coughs and won't fill your body with chemicals.-
Garlic and Honey

The combination of garlic and an acid like apple vinegar or lemon juice works to open sinus passages and break up phlegm. Honey is packed with nutrients and acts as a natural antiseptic.
* Smash one clove of garlic in a cup and one tablespoon of honey (if you don't like strong garlic, you can boil the clove first for 5 minutes)
* Stir in one tablespoon of fresh lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
* Drink the entire mixture
Cayenne and Ginger Tea

Cayenne pepper, ginger and vinegar all open up the sinus passages, providing some cough relief. Honey helps soothe your sore throat and is a great energy supply when you're feeling sluggish. Drinking the mixture with hot water helps keep your fluids replenished.
* 1/4 tablespoon cayenne pepper or 1/4 cup mint
* 1/4 finely chopped or ground ginger
* 1 cup apple cider vinegar
* 1 cup honey
* 2 cups hot waterMix ingredients and add teaspoons of the solution to the hot water until it tastes strong but not so strong that you can't drink it. Consume. The mixture will keep refrigerated for up to a week.

* 100% grape juice (not from concentrate)
* 1 teaspoon honeyMix the honey into the grape juice and drink once daily.
