1
Pop a cough drop or throat lozenge in your mouth every time your throat gives a tickle. Find a flavor that you find favorable, since you may be using them a lot to suppress your cough. Be sure to find ones specific for coughs and not just sore throats.

2
Keep yourself hydrated. Drink water or hot tea throughout the day. Consider adding lemon, honey or peppermint to both drinks to soothe the tickle in your throat.
-
3
Hydrate your air. If you are in a room with dry air, consider using a humidifier. This will help with reducing any irritations to your dry and tickled throat.
-
4
Take medicine. If your cough is still bothering you, consider visiting your medicine shelf. Look for a medication that suits any symptoms you have and ones that will not make you drowsy during the day or keep you up at night. Follow the directions of the medicine container.
