How to Make your own Sinus Irrigation Rinse
Things You'll Need
- 1 cup distilled bottled water
- Microwave-safe bowl
- 1/2 teaspoon non-iodized salt
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 drops grapefruit seed extract
- Spoon

Pour 1 cup of distilled bottled water into a clean microwave-safe bowl. Heat the water in the microwave on "medium" heat for five to 15 seconds until it's lukewarm. It can also be used at room temperature, if preferred.

Add 1/2 teaspoon non-iodized salt and 1/8 teaspoon baking soda to the water. Stir both ingredients into the distilled water until dissolved.

Place two drops of grapefruit seed extract into the mixture to add an infection-fighting element. Stir the solution to mix it well.

Irrigate the nasal cavity with your homemade nasal saline solution and a nasal syringe with a bulb on the end of it or a neti pot.
