If you get these nasty blisters a lot, there is a vitamin called Lysine. Taking this vitamin when you start to feel the tingle on your lip can prevent this blister from coming out and if it does come out it can shorten the lifespan of it.

For those of you that have a big meeting or maybe prom is right around the corner or that guy finally asked you out, a way to get rid of fever blisters right away is to use hydrogen peroxide. There is a warning that this can cause scarring and it is not recommended to use over and over again.

You will need cotton swabs and a bottle of hydrogen peroxide. Take the cotton swab and dip it in the solution. Apply the saturated swab to your fever blister. Sometimes a little stinging occurs but it is very rare. You will notice that the fever blister start to fizz and turn white. When it does this it is getting rid of all of the bacteria. After finishing make sure you rinse the area thoroughly.
