How to Make an Herbal Sinus Soup

This soup is made from natural ingredients and provides relief from sinus congestion. Keep a fresh batch on hand during cold, flu and allergy season.

Things You'll Need

  • Glass bowl
  • Non-reactive cooking pot
  • Pure water
  • Chicken or vegetable bouillon
  • Fresh garlic
  • Ginger root powder or peeled fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup dried thyme
  • Dried feverfew flowers
  • 3/4 cup dried peppermint leaves
  • 1 tsp. dried, rubbed or crushed sage

Instructions

      Place the dry herbs in the glass bowl and mix together thoroughly.

      Mix 1 tbsp. of the above herb mixture into 2 cups of liquid bouillon.

      Chop and crush several cloves of the fresh garlic and mix them into the soup.

      Mix in 2 tsps. of ginger powder. You also may use a few slices of freshly peeled ginger.

      Simmer over a very low heat for approximately 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
