Is there such thing as a repetitive talking and responding obsessive compulsive disorder?

Repetitive talking and responding is not a specific type of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). However, certain OCD symptoms may involve repetitive verbal behaviours. For example, someone with OCD may repeatedly ask questions or make statements to seek reassurance or certainty about something. However, OCD is characterized by the presence of persistent and unwanted thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviours or mental acts (compulsions) that a person feels driven to perform in response to these obsessions.
