How to Reduce the Dose of Lyrica

Lyrica has long been known for its effectiveness at controlling pain and seizures. Lyrica is primarily prescribed for patients over 18 years of age for control of conditions like diabetic neuropathy, post herpetic infection and fibromyalgia. Suddenly discontinuing Lyrica can lead to withdrawal symptoms like swelling of the face, mouth, lips, tongue and gums, dizziness and tiredness. It is therefore recommended to slowly reduce the intake of Lyrica to avoid withdrawal symptoms.
