Tofranil PM is commonly prescribed to adults suffering from depression and/or anxiety, and is also sometimes used for children who suffer from bedwetting. Signs of an overdose include coma; blue lips, skin, palms or fingernails; loss of consciousness; confusion; disorientation; lethargy and shallow breathing. Other possible side effects indicating an overdose are: severe sleepiness, pale skin, lips or fingernails; and cold, clammy skin.
