Take a deep breath and close your eyes to relieve anxiety and stress. Visualize something soothing and comforting until your anxiety episode passes.

Try a yoga class to calm your anxiety and nerves, and manage long-term anxiety.

Use anti-anxiety prescription medications, prescribed by a Psychiatrist, to manage generalized anxiety disorder. A medication, such as Lorazepam, is commonly prescribed to treat anxiety disorders.

Exercise regularly to manage anxiety. Thirty minutes of brisk walking, jogging or running will channel and reduce anxiety symptoms.
