Cardiovascular exercises may include walking, skiing, hiking, jogging, tennis, and volleyball.

DRINK WATER - Drink plenty of water every day to keep your blood sugars low. Drink eight to twelve glasses of water that are each eight ounces. Drinking water is crucial to many bodily functions and also helps keep blood sugars low.

Do not count other drinks as your daily water intake. There is some controversy that other liquids can be counted in part towards your daily water intake. This is not a good idea because other drinks such as tea, coffee, juice, milk and soda can be dehydrating so they have the opposite effect of water. Drink your water and do not include any other drink in your glass count.
