These side effects include sleeplessness, headaches, restlessness, exhaustion, drowsiness, feeling lightheaded and dizzy, diarrhea, nausea, bladder control loss, increased need to urinate, and changes in vision. These side effects are usually considered to be minor and subside quickly.

Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome
-
Symptoms of neuroleptic malignant syndrome are a very serious side effect of using Metoclopram. Neuroleptic malignant syndrome is a fatal, rare type of reaction to neuroleptic medicine. Some symptoms of neuroleptic malignant syndrome are the muscles feeling stiff, high fever, disorientation, confusion, abnormal blood pressure or pulse, faster heart rate (also known as tachycardia), abnormal heart rhythms (also known as arrhythmia) and excessive sweating.
Extrapyramidal Signs
-
Extrapyramidal symptoms (often abbreviated as EPS) are side effects that frequently occur along with the use of antipsychotic medicines. They often relate to movement and muscle issues. Tense muscles, contracting muscles, odd tongue, bodily or facial motions and jitters or restlessness internally are all possible extrapyramidal signs that can be related to the use of Metoclopram.
Liver Problem Symptoms
-
Liver problem symptoms are another possible side effect of taking Metoclopram. Some of these liver issues are the skin or the eyes becoming increasingly yellow (commonly referred to as jaundice), and excessively high enzymes of the liver (which can be discovered after undergoing a blood examination). These symptoms are severe and should be reported to a medical professional as soon as possible.
