One Touch Ultra Mini Coding Instructions

A OneTouch UltraMini is a smaller, more portable version of the standard OneTouch Ultra blood-glucose-testing machine. If you have recently purchased a new UltraMini, or have a new package of test strips, code the unit by entering the code on the test strips into the device. The process is simple and quick, and once completed, you won't have to code the meter again until you use a new package of test strips.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn off your meter and insert a test strip into the test port at the top of the unit. Make sure the contact bars on the test strip are facing you. Push the strip in as far as it will go.

    • 2

Wait for the unit to turn on. After the start-up screen appears, the display screen will read "C --".

    • 3

Use the arrow keys near the display screen to match the two-digit number with the code number written on the test strip vial.

    • 4

Wait for the code number on the display to flash for three seconds. It will then be solid for three seconds. A flashing blood-drop icon will then appear on the screen. The OneTouch is now coded and ready to use.
