How to Clear a Logbook on a OneTouch UltraSmart

The OneTouch UltraSmart glucose meter features a logbook that allows you to record exercise, meals, emotional levels and other information in association with blood-sugar levels stored on the device. These entries are stored in the device and can be referred to at any time. The logbook be cleared only by resetting the meter to factory settings. Resetting the device clears all stored information, including stored blood sugar levels.

  Power the meter off.

  Press and hold the "Back" and "Ok" buttons simultaneously for two seconds or more. The back button is the button with an arrow that points to the left.

  Select your language and press "Ok." The meter will continue through the setup wizard and is now reset.
