    • Roche Diagnostics, a company that delivers healthcare solutions to millions of people, manufactures Accu-check products. Accu-chek produces a variety of glucometers and insulin pumps. Some blood monitoring systems available include the Accu-check Aviva, Accu-check Compact Plus and Accu-check Advantage. Features of the Aviva meter systems include non-slip grips, results in five seconds, ergonomic design, six test sites and 0.6-microliter blood sample size. Accu-check Compact Plus provides results within five seconds, an 1.5-microliter blood sample area and 11 modifiable settings for various skin types. Accu-check Advantage is as small as a stopwatch and has 11 settings to accommodate diverse skin types.

    • LifeScan, a Johnson & Johnson Company, offers the One Touch System product line of blood glucose meters. Some monitoring systems under the One Touch System line include Ultra Link, Ultra and Select. The One Touch System Ultra Link sends test results wirelessly to MiniMed Paradigm Bolu Wizard and provides averages before or after you eat. Features of the One Touch System Select monitoring system include three test sites, small sample area and automatically calculates averages for 7, 14 and 30 days. One Touch Ultra offers forearm and finger testing and quick results.

    Bayer

    • Bayer offers glucometers for adults and children. They offer a variety of monitoring systems from the Didget, Contour and Breeze brands. Bayer designed the Didget meter system for children. The Didget glucose system plugs into a Nintendo DS and a Nintendo DS Lite. The Bayer Contour Meter offers a 0.6-microliter sample size and the ability to customize based on your needs. Features of the Breeze 2 Meter include a 10-test disc that you reload every 10 days.
