How to Reset a Breeze Meter
Resetting some diabetic blood glucose monitoring systems is confusing. Each meter is slightly different, and the settings vary on each one. Complicated meters take 20 or 30 minutes to figure out the resetting procedure, and sometimes setting the meter is an impossible task. Using the Breeze meter made by Bayer is easy. The meter is easy to open even if a person has arthritis, and resetting it is an uncomplicated task which takes about 10 minutes.Instructions

Place the meter on a table with the bottom of the meter facing you. Open the button door by gently pulling on the tabs on both sides just above the button with the letter "I" in the center of it. Press the button that looks like a letter "V" turned on its side to enter setup mode.

Set the time by pressing the up or down arrows to adjust the hour then press "OK." Use the same up or down arrows to adjust the minutes then press "OK." Use the up or down arrows to select AM or PM. Select "OK" and the time is set.

Press the up or down arrows to change the day of the month then press "OK." Use the up or down arrows to change the month then press "OK." Change the year with the up or down arrows then click "OK."

Adjust the volume on the buzzer with the up or down buttons then press "OK."

Change the time format to 24 hours by pressing the up or down buttons. If you would rather have your testing schedule on a 12-hour basis, set it to 12 hours instead of 24. Then press "OK."

Adjust the display format for the date with the up or down arrows. You can choose month first, date second and year last, or date first, month second and year last. Make your selection then press the "OK" button.
