How do I Change the Date on the OneTouch Mini?
The One Touch UltraMini Meter comes with a preset time, date and unit of measure. Check the time and date before using the meter for the first time or after you change the battery. Keeping the time and date accurate on your meter will come in handy as you track blood sugar control. The Ultra Mini Meter automatically stores up to 500 blood sugar test results at a time, along with the dates and times of the tests.Things You'll Need

Setting the Hour and Minutes

Turn the meter on by pressing and holding the down arrow button for five seconds. The start-up test screen should appear. After the test screen, the preset time and date will appear for five seconds. Afterward, the hour should start flashing.

As the hour flashes on the display, press and hold the down arrow to change the time backward or the up arrow to set the time forward. When the correct hour is on the screen, wait five seconds for your entry to save. The screen automatically will advance to the next setting.

The minutes should now be flashing. Press the up or down arrow button to change the minutes backward or forward. When the correct minute displays, wait five seconds for your entry to save. The screen will automatically advance to the next setting.

To the right of the hour and minutes, AM or PM will start flashing on the screen. Press the up or down arrow button to set AM or PM. Wait five seconds for your entry to save. The screen will automatically advance to the next setting.
Setting the Date

The last two digits of the year, the month and the day will now flash on the screen. Press the up or down arrow button to change the year. Wait five seconds for your entry to save.

The month will now flash on the screen. Press the up or down arrow button to change the month. Wait five seconds for your entry to save.

The day will now flash on the screen. Press the up or down arrow button to change the day. Wait five seconds and move to the next screen. The changes you made to date and time will flash on the screen for five seconds. After that, the changes will be saved and the meter will shut off. If you need to adjust any of your settings, press the up or down arrow while the time and date are still on the screen. This will return you to the first setup screen and you can adjust the hour or move through the screens to adjust the minutes, year, month and day.
