How to Change the Battery on a Freestyle Flash
The two lithium batteries in your Freestyle Flash Blood Glucose Monitoring System are designed to last for about 500 tests. When your battery level gets low, you will see a battery symbol on the display screen. This means the battery will last through about 25 more tests. Replace it as soon as possible once the symbol appears. The Flash comes with a set of replacement batteries, but you can purchase the correct battery type from most electronics stores.Things You'll Need
