How to Code a KeyNote Meter
The WaveSense KeyNote glucose meter, unlike some glucose meters, requires you to enter the test strip code before testing your blood. If you don't code the meter before testing your blood, you may receive false results. The WaveSense KeyNote glucose meter analyzes the test strip when you place it in the machine, prior to testing your blood, and displays a code on the screen. If the code is incorrect, you need to manually change it.Instructions

2
Check the code number on the test strip vial. If the code number on the meter is correct, you don't have to change the code. Continue if the code number is incorrect.
-
3
Press the right or left arrow buttons on the front of the KeyNote meter until the code number matches the test strip code number. The right arrow increases the number, and the left arrow decreases the number.
