SureStep Flexx Meter Glucometer Instructions
The SureStep Flexx Glucometer is a device used by health care professionals for testing the blood glucose of a patient's venous, capillary, arterial, and neonatal whole blood sample. With proper training, it measures the blood glucose level and assists the operator in determining what type of therapy is appropriate for each patient. This may include the use of insulin or the sulfonylureas class of anti-diabetes drugs. With proper testing, the patient's diabetes will be managed and complications associated with uncontrolled diabetes will be avoided.Things You'll Need

Verify the sample is accurately collected by examining the white strip on the front of the test strip, as well as the confirmation dot on the back of the strip. The white panel should not be completely saturated and the confirmation dot should be completely blue to be considered an accurate collection.
-
7
Insert the strip into the glucometer with the confirmation dot side facing down. The strip should be inserted all the way into the device until it cannot go in any further. Once inserted properly, the blood glucose results should appear within 30 seconds.
