Pepto-Bismol, distributed in liquid, tablets or capsule form helps suppress or relieve upset stomach, heartburn, indigestion and nausea. Pepto-Bismol is available over the counter without a prescription.

Pepto-bismol is advised to be used by adults and children 12 years and over. It should be taken as directed, one dose, as needed every half-hour to one hour as needed. It should not exceed eight doses in 24 hours.
