How to Flush Your Gall Bladder
The gallbladder stores bile from the liver until it is needed by the small intestine to continue the digestive process. Bile is primarily used to digest foods that are high in fat content. Gallstones and gallbladder disorders disrupt this function by blocking the flow of bile through the bile ducts into the small intestine. A gallbladder flush, or cleanse, is a popular alternative therapy to rid the body of gallstones and other toxins. While there is no reliable evidence among traditional medical practitioners, chiropractic and holistic providers recommend it as a healthy way to avoid invasive surgical procedures.Things You'll Need

1
Drink 20 to 32 ounces of apple juice daily for six days prior to beginning the actual flush. Consuming apple juice will help soften any gallstones and help them flush more easily. Also, do not consume any animal products, including meat, eggs or dairy products, during this time. Begin the flush on the seventh day with a light breakfast of fresh fruit. Follow up with a light, early lunch consisting of steamed vegetables and white rice. Continue to avoid animal products on the day you begin the flush. In addition, do not consume any proteins or oils. Drink the entire 20 to 32 ounces of apple juice before noon. Do not consume anything after noon.

Mix 1 tablespoon of Epsom salts in 1 cup of water at 6 p.m. Drink the entire cup as quickly as possible to minimize the bitter taste. Follow up the first dose with another tablespoon of Epsom salts in 1 cup of water at 8 p.m. Stay close to restroom facilities after this point, as the Epsom salts will cause a series of loose bowel movements.

Squeeze the juice from three grapefruits until you have between 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup of freshly squeezed juice. Thoroughly mix the grapefruit juice with 1/2 cup of olive oil. At 10 p.m., while standing next to your bed, drink the mixture quickly. It helps if you can down it in one gulp. Immediately after finishing the grapefruit juice-olive oil mixture, lie down on your back with your head raised. Do not move or speak for a minimum of 30 minutes. It is best to fall asleep if you are able to do so.

4
Drink another glass consisting of 1 tablespoon of Epsom salts dissolved in 1 cup of water between 6 and 7 the following morning. Follow this up with your fourth and final Epsom salt mixture between 8 and 9 a.m.
-
5
Eat a light breakfast consisting of fresh fruit between 10 and 11 a.m. One hour later you may resume a normal eating schedule, but remember to eat lightly to rest your digestive tract for the remainder of the day. The next day you should notice a continuation of a series of watery bowel movements. These may contain multiple green, black and tan stones. The green stones are generated from the liver, while the black and tan stones are from the gallbladder.
