Digestive Disease Symptoms

Digestive disease warns us of its existence through its symptoms. If you experience these symptoms often, make an appointment with your doctor. Digestive disease should be treated as soon as possible.
  1. Bowel Movements

    • Constipation or diarrhea may be signs of digestive disease. Having bowel movements more or less than normal could be due to a digestive problem.

    Nausea

    • Nausea, or stomach upset, could be caused by motion sickness or viral infection. If your nausea is consistently present, it may be a symptom of digestive disease.

    Vomiting

    • Vomiting is the expulsion of stomach contents through the mouth. Digestive problems may be the cause of this expulsion.

    Heartburn

    • Heartburn, a burning sensation behind the breastbone, may be caused by digestive disease. Acid reflux disease is the digestive issue most commonly linked to heartburn.

    Gas

    • Gas in the digestive system is usually displayed through belching or flatulence. Frequent gas may be a sign of a digestive disease.
