    Side Effects of Pariet

    • The most common adverse effects are headache, diarrhea and nausea. Isolated cases of asthenia, flatulence, pharyngitis, vomiting and non-specific pain have been reported.

    Rare Side Effects of Pariet

    • There have been reports of thrombocytopenia, neutropenia and leukopenia, all of which are a reduction in platelet (thrombocyte) count.

    • Pariet pills should not be chewed; they need to be swallowed whole.
