How to Purify and Detoxify the Colon Through Irrigation

Colonic irrigation, also known as colon cleansing, is a medical procedure where a large amount of liquid is pumped into the colon through the rectum. Although the liquid used in the colon is often water, wheatgrass, coffee, tea, herbs and juices can also be used. Although some doctors recommend and consider colonics healthy and necessary, other doctors believe it is unnecessary and does not provide the body any benefits. Supporters of colonics believe it detoxifies the body and clears it of impurities.
