Relief for Tummy Nausea
Tummy nausea can be caused by foods that don't agree with you, overeating or a number of other reasons. The good news is, relief is at hand.-
Noncarbonated Syrup
-
Take 2 teaspoons of noncarbonated syrup, which is the same syrup used in Coke. If you don't have access to this syrup, you can use Emetrol, which is an over-the-counter substitute for Coke syrup. If all else fails, take Coke, ginger ale or 7UP and let them go flat by opening a can or bottle to air and letting it sit. You will know it's flat when you shake it and no bubbles appear. When they are at room temperature, drink a couple of tablespoons. If there is no improvement after about 20 minutes, repeat.
Ginger Root
-
Take two ginger root capsules for your nausea. Natural-homeremedies.org claims this will relieve your nausea almost instantly. Daniel B. Mowrey, who has researched herbal remedies and their effectiveness, recommends that the dosage of ginger root depends on how nauseated you are. When you burp and you taste ginger, "you've had enough."
Tea
-
Peppermint and chamomile teas are also known to relieve nausea. Take one teaspoon of tea, or one tea bag, and put it in hot water. Let it steep then drink it warm. You can combine these teas into one drink.
