Ulcer & Acid Reflux Symptoms
-
Heartburn
-
Heartburn is a symptom of both acid reflux and an ulcer. Heartburn is essentially a burning sensation in the region of chest.
Bloating
-
Boating also occurs with acid reflux and ulcers. This bloating may be accompanied by gas.
Nausea
-
Many times a person suffering from either acid reflux or an ulcer would experience some nausea, which may bring about vomiting.
Cramps
-
Another common symptom of both of these conditions is cramping in the abdominal region. However, ulcers trigger actual pain on an empty stomach, as opposed to pain associated with having a meal.
Loss of Appetite
-
Depending on the severity of both conditions, a person may begin to lose his appetite, even if eating would bring some relief (as in the case of an ulcer).
