2. Water and electrolytes:

- Electrolytes: such as sodium, potassium, chloride, bicarbonate, and calcium

3. Portal Blood:

- Hepatic portal blood is deoxygenated due to the absorption of nutrients by the intestinal villi. The oxygen content in portal blood is lower compared to arterial blood.

4. Waste products from cellular activities:
