Use a yoga mat to be comfortable while performing yoga poses. Place a yoga mat or thick towel on the floor. Lay down on your back.

Draw one knee to the chest while inhaling as you count to three. Hug your leg close to your chest with both arms for a count of three. Let go of your leg and return it to the floor slowly as you exhale to the count of three. Repeat this with the other leg. Complete the sequence by drawing in both legs at once.

Take activated charcoal tablets, as directed on the package, after eating to help release gas buildup.

University of Maryland research recommends two to four cups of herbal tea a day. Sip ginger tea to relieve pain from gas. Expel gas when you can to get rid of the gas bubble.
