How to Assemble a Mini Amplifier for a Hearing Aid

An in-ear amplifier hearing aid is a small device that fits in the ear and boosts hearing. This device runs on a small, circular battery similar to a watch battery. There aren't very many components in an amplifier like this, so assembling it doesn't take very much time at all.

Instructions

    • 1

Slide the battery door off the rear of the amplifier in order to have access to the battery compartment.

    • 2

Peel off the sticker on the top of the included circular battery and fit the battery into the compartment according to the diagram on the inside of the compartment.

    • 3

      Replace the battery compartment cover.

    • 4

Fit the thin end of the plastic bud piece over the connector on the end of the amplifier opposite the battery end. Press the ear bud piece gently in place.

    • 5

Fit the amplifier in your ear so that the plastic bud goes in first. You can adjust the dial near the battery compartment in order to control the audio reception.
