How to Apply for Disability Allowance

If you have become disabled and are unable to work, you may be eligible for financial assistance from the federal government for disability allowance or as it is called in the U.S., disability insurance. The Social Security Administration is the agency that administers benefit payments to disabled applicants, whose eligibility depends on their employment status and history. If you are a state employee and become disabled, you may be eligible for state benefits.
