How to Apply for Disability in Dallas, Texas
Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) provides a monthly income to some people who cannot work because of a disability. To qualify, people must have worked a certain amount of time in the past and paid into Social Security. Some people who have not worked or paid in enough to qualify for SSDI may qualify for Supplemental Security Income (SSI). The amount you can receive each month depends on which type of disability you qualify for, SSDI or SSI, and how much you paid into Social Security in the past.Instructions
