What is the treatment for chronic PID?

Treatment for primary immunodeficiency is based on the type of disease, but commonly uses antibiotics, immunoglobulin replacement therapy, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, gene therapy, enzyme replacement therapy or medications that boost the immune system. Some primary immunodeficiency diseases can be cured, most others require life-long management.
