How to Prevent Vocal Nodules
Vocal cords vibrate to produce sound. Sometimes, because of various factors, nodules form on the vocal cords. These swollen growths harden with time and are often painful, making it difficult for you to speak and sing. You may feel as if you have to constantly clear your throat and your voice sounds hoarse. You can avoid certain factors to lessen your chances of developing vocal nodules. As a last resort, vocal nodules are often surgically removed.Things You'll Need

Cut down your vocal volume to avoid damaging your vocal cords. Drink hot tea with honey if you find you are especially hoarse after a night of screaming to help soothe your throat.
