How to Become an Aoda Counselor

Want to make a positive impact on society? Become an Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) counselor and educate children about drugs and drug-related, societal issues. The certification process to become an AODA counselor is about the same as for earning an associate degree, often requiring two years of work experience and a few hundred hours of certified training.
