Can i take midol and drink alcohol?

It is generally not recommended to mix Midol and alcohol.

Midol contains acetaminophen, caffeine, and pyrilamine. Acetaminophen is a pain reliever and fever reducer. Caffeine is a stimulant that can increase heart rate and blood pressure. Pyrilamine is an antihistamine that can cause drowsiness.

Alcohol can also affect the liver, which is responsible for breaking down acetaminophen. Mixing alcohol with Midol can increase the risk of liver damage.

Additionally, alcohol can worsen the side effects of Midol, such as drowsiness, dizziness, and headache.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Midol if you are also drinking alcohol.
