Inpatient Drug Programs in Illinois

While some hospitals in the Illinois area offer inpatient detoxification programs for people who are addicted to drugs or alcohol, their treatment plans may not be as intensive as those offered by centers whose sole purpose is the rehabilitation of addicts. These drug programs offer inpatient treatment for several weeks to months, as well as follow-up outpatient treatment to help lower the chances of relapse.
  1. Gateway Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Center

    • The Gateway residential program is available for both adults and teenagers who are in need of treatment for substance abuse, alcohol abuse or a dual-diagnosis of both problems. There are several locations in the state of Illinois with the main branch located in Chicago. Inpatient treatment includes group counseling, drug and alcohol education, individual counseling, self-study and family counseling. Once a patient is ready to leave the residential program she is encouraged to take part in the day treatment aftercare programs or move to a recovery home to make sure she is stabilized and engaged in her own recovery process.
