This non-profit organization requires a $5 co-payment at the initial visit and then does not bill for further treatments. The average treatment duration is 90 days, but the time frame is dependent on individual progress.

The Choice Program

• The Choice Program is a youth development program designed to empower youth and engage families through services adapted to individual needs. The program works to reduce delinquent behavior in children and reduce the number of out-of-home placements. The program is instructed by college graduates serving one-year terms as Community Learning Service Fellows. The Choice Program features face-to-face contact seven days a week to help build meaningful relationships and enhance decision making. The cost is $4,500 per youth.

• The Northwest Baltimore Youth Services, Inc. is a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center that specializes in substance abuse treatment.
