How to Change the Case on a Phonak KeyPilot

The Phonak KeyPilot is a handy accessory that ships with many Phonak hearing aids. Designed to be added to your key ring for convenience, it allows remote control of program selection and volume control for your Phonak hearing device. Different colored protective cases are included with your Key Pilot to match your style preference.

Instructions

      Slide open the KeyPilot to expose the control buttons. Grasp the unit in the palm of your right hand with the controls facing you.

      Your thumb will be along the side of the inner KeyPilot unit. To release the KeyPilot from the case, push to the left with your thumb until the inner unit releases. There is a small tab on the inside that must be disengaged.

      You will hear a click and the KeyPilot will slide out of the case.

      Slide the KeyPilot into the new case. It will click about half way down. The KeyPilot is now ready.
