What are Ear surgery preparations?

Ear surgery preparations:

- Complete medical history and physical exam

- Diagnostic tests, such as X-rays or hearing tests

- Quit smoking at least 4 weeks before surgery

- Avoid taking aspirin, ibuprofen, or other blood-thinning medications for 2 weeks before surgery

- Arrange for someone to drive you home and stay with you for at least the first 24 hours after surgery
