The external nose

* Nasal bone: The nasal bone forms the bridge of the nose.

* Lateral nasal cartilages: The lateral nasal cartilages are located on the sides of the nose and help to support the shape of the nose.

* Ala: The alae are the fleshy parts of the nose that surround the nostrils.

The internal nose

* Nasal cavity: The nasal cavity is the hollow space inside the nose.

* Turbinates: The turbinates are bony projections that line the nasal cavity and help to warm and humidify the air that we breathe.

* Nasopharynx: The nasopharynx is the part of the nasal cavity that connects to the throat.

* Olfactory bulb: The olfactory bulb is a small structure located at the top of the nasal cavity that is responsible for our sense of smell.
