1
Mix one teaspoon of baking soda in a cup of warm water. Using a bulb syringe, flush the mixture into your ear. The hardened wax should dislodge almost immediately.
-
2
Put a few drops of baby oil into your ears twice a day over the course of five to seven days. This will eventually soften the wax.
-
3
Tilt your head down while pulling the top of your ear up to expose and open the ear canal. Use the bulb syringe to squirt warm water into your ear.
-
4
Dry your ear using a paper towel for the outer ear. Place a few drops of rubbing alcohol inside your ear and tilt your head to allow the liquid to wash out, leaving a dry inner ear.

5
Visit your doctor if these home remedies are unsuccessful. He can use specific chemicals to remove impacted or hardened earwax.
