1
Take a close look at the break on the glasses. If the break is not clean or there are pieces missing, you may not be able to glue the frame together.
-
2
If the break is clean or in a straight line, wipe the eyeglass frame with a lint-free cloth to remove any dust from the area.
-
3
Read the directions on your glue, making certain it is compatible with acrylic. Also make note of the recommended drying time.
-
4
Dab a small amount of glue onto a toothpick and quickly rub the glue from the toothpick onto both sides of the broken acrylic. Make sure the glue is still wet during this process.
-
5
Hold the two broken pieces tightly together for at least 60 seconds or as directed by your glue manufacturer.
-
6
Gently place the eyeglasses on a solid surface. Allow the frame to dry on its own for the next hour to ensure that the glue has properly bonded the break.
