Put a drop or two of some refreshing eye drops in each eye. Some brands offer drops that contain menthol, which can really give a burst of energy to tired eyes.

Try giving your eyes a break from the light by putting on a sleep mask. You can do this even if you are not planning to take a nap. It will help by giving your eyes a little break from the bright office lights or computer screen, blocking out any harsh light rays. Five quick minutes with this mask will have you awake again, and if you use a mask with herbs such as lavender in it, it will help relax you, too.

Try wetting a wash rag with some cold water, folding it in half and placing it over your closed eyes. This is a trick that has been used for ages, and it really helps to perk up tired eyes and get you moving again.

Place a cucumber slice on each closed eyelid. This is another popular fix, which not only soothes the eyes with coolness and moisture but also helps to reduce puffiness.
