According to Color Vision Testing, these tests can be effective for establishing that a person is (or is not) color blind; however, because computer monitor colors can vary, the tests are better suited for screening and not diagnosing. One type of colorblind test usually found online is the Ishihara Plates test. This test involves an image made out of a series of colorful circles. Within the circle is an image, such as a number, that only a person with regular eyesight will be able to see. If you cannot see the image, you are most likely color blind. City University Dynamic Colour Vision Test

The City University Dynamic Colour Vision Test was developed by Professor John L. Barbur from the City University London as a computer color vision test. Based on the same principles as the Ishihara test, Barbur's test can also be found by searching online with any search engine.
