Dark Eyes Solution

Dark eye circles, also known as eye-bags, are dark blemishes around the eyes.
  1. Causes

    • Causes of dark eye circles include heredity, diet, dehydration, hay fever, iron deficiency anemia, sun damage and lack of sleep.

    Sun Screen

    • Wear sun screen with an SPF of 30 under your eyes to prevent skin thinning caused by sun damage.

    Sleep

    • As lack of sleep is one of the main causes of dark eye circles, getting enough sleep every night will help reduce the appearance of dark eye circles.

    Creams

    • Applying vitamin K cream to the dark eye circles can reduce their appearance as vitamin K is thought to help with bruising. Applying cool cucumbers or plain cool teabags to the dark eye circles may also reduce their appearance.

    Makeup

    • Covering up dark eye circles with makeup is a temporary solution that does not make the symptoms go away.
