1
Use soap and water to wash your lenses. Fill a small bowl or put a little bit of water into a sink and a few drops of dish soap. Immerse the glasses and swish around in the soapy water, then remove and rub the each wet lens in a circular motion to clean thoroughly. Rinse with clear water.

2
Dry the lenses using only a soft cotton material. An old t-shirt or diaper works well.

3
Place a small amount of toothpaste on your finger and rub into the scratch on the lens. Rinse with water and wipe with a soft cloth. This method may take several applications to disguise scratches.

4
Apply a liquid bandage product to the lenses and allow it to dry. Reapply liquid bandage if your lenses get wet.

5
Rub wet cigarette ashes in a circular motion into your clean lenses. Gently wash lenses and inspect the scratches. Reapply wet cigarette ashes several times to fill in the scratches.
