Allow your doctor to perform a near point convergence test. Sit in a chair as your doctor takes an object such as a small ball or penlight and begins to bring it towards your face. Your doctor slowly brings the object towards the face until he can see your eyes are not focusing together.

Allow your doctor to perform a positive fusional vergence test. Read letters from an eye chart while viewing them through prism lenses. Your eye professional looks for signs of when double vision occurs as you read the letters. These tests help your doctor diagnose eye tracking problems.
