1
Scrape off any loose pieces of frame or residue from previous repairs. Do this gently so as not to break the frame further.
-
2
Wash your frame with mild soap and water and allow to dry completely. Wipe off with a towel. It is important that the frame be totally dry, so wait at least five or 10 minutes after washing.
-
3
Insert the lens into the frame if the part of the frame that is broken is the eyewire, the part that holds the lens in place.
-
4
Place one or two drops of superglue on the most inside part of one side of the broken frame piece.
-
5
Line up and apply the other side of the broken frame to the piece that has the superglue already on it; hold the two pieces together for at least one to two minutes to allow the glue to set. If possible, wrap a rubber band around the section you are repairing to hold the frame together as the glue dries.

Repeat steps if first attempt does not work. But first, scrape off any dried glue from your first try.
