Side Effects of Restasis
Restasis is the brand name for cyclosporine ophthalmic--eye drops used to treat dry eye disease by increasing tear production. A temporary burning feeling in the affected eye is the most common side effect of Restasis. Other side effects include excessive tearing, blurred vision, eye discomfort, itching, stinging, redness and soreness of the eyes.-

Restasis is a prescription drug and cannot be purchased over the counter. Use Restasis for relief as long as you have dry eyes. Be sure to consult your doctor prior to discontinuing use.
Proper Use

Use Restasis exactly as prescribed. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, avoid doubling your dosage. If you overdose, wash eyes with water and contact the emergency room or poison control center.
Warning

Contaminating the Restasis dropper can cause eye infections. Do not touch the dropper or place it on surfaces.
Activities to Avoid

Do not use Restasis while wearing contact lenses and wait 15 minutes before re-inserting lenses into your eyes.
Drug Interactions

Do not use other eye drops or eye medications while using Restasis.
