Tea Bags

• Make a glass of tea and drink it. Tea has many antioxidants in it that are good for healing your body and keeping it healthy. But this is just a bonus because it's the actual tea bag you're after. Set your tea bag aside and wait for it to cool. You can place it in the refrigerator to speed up the process. Then place the tea bag on your eye for 10 minutes. Repeat as needed. The cold tea bag will work to reduce the swelling, getting rid of the puffiness. The cold will also help to get rid of any pain or discomfort you may be experiencing.

Hemorrhoid Cream

• Wash your hands and place a small amount of hemorrhoid cream on your finger. Rub it in under your eyes being careful not to get any in your eyes. The hemorrhoid cream contains an anti-inflammatory property that will reduce the swelling. Repeat this twice daily until you see an improvement. Make sure you wash your hands again afterward.

Expel Excess Fluid

• There are two tricks you can use to get rid of the fluid build-up causing the puffiness. You can press on the puffy part of your eye, massaging it for about two minutes. This will cause the fluid build-up to break up and release. You can also eliminate sodium from your diet. Sodium, or salt, causes water retention. As you reduce your sodium intake, drink plenty of water to flush the excess fluids from your body.
